The significance of the sun coming out today, after days of literal and figurative darkness, whether it was for mockery or reward, it certainly wasn’t lost on me, resting on my laurels of finally having solved the sewage situation yesterday, which resulted in a blissful victory rush that, as a welcome side effect, helped slow down today’s pace.
Even the smallest window in our tiny abode can breathe again, my bizarro self-invoked curses gloriously lifted from its frame, at least for today.
Of course the sun came out!
